There is no real ending…it’s just a moment where you to stop the story….(or words to that affect :) )
After six years, and a kind of long goodbye, I bid adieu to ArtDesh. I gave a lot and I learnt a lot, and hopefully helped lay some strong roots for the tree to grow…

Very proud to have lead the transition from the organisation’s commercial origins to a non-profit Arts Foundation, collaborating with the core team, the ogranisation’s members and well wishers, the many associated organisations and donors to establish its core governing principles. The principles shall of course be known as a work in progress and look forward to seeing how it develops from afar - I don’t imagine the passion for the cause will reduce any time soon.
I look back fondly at all the great things accomplished…
Calligraphy art demonstrated at NMAF
That arts festival - that saw over 100 artists from all parts of India exhibit their works and demonstrate their process to a new (and subsequently captivated) audience, bringing much needed culture to a satellite city.
The reset and repeat with a photography festival that endeavoured to have the same impact.
The good will with local artists who saw the space as more than just a platform, but rather a hub or home or sanctuary from the struggles of making art as a living.
The support given, not as charity, but as kinship - just a helping hand to see one through.

All the exhibitions, all the workshops, all the projects, all the associations and networks, all the ideas and creative sparks and to the projects that never came to be.
Thank you for the experiences and thank you for the memories.
